Unit Test Exam Scope

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, October 5^th

l  Oral Exam –   Thursday, October 6^th

l  Written Exam – Wednesday, October 12^th

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

·         Communication Book (Weeks 1-4)

 

ORAL EXAM:   

Students will be asked to read from a familiar text.  They will be evaluated on fluency, pronunciation, intonation and clarity.  Students will also be asked to describe the differences between two pictures.

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 1-4)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         Mama’s Birthday Present

·         Cinderella

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

• Vowel Digraphs ai, ay
• Vowel Digraph ea
• Singular and Plural Possessives
• Adding Endings
