Spring 2023 Third Exam Scope

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

l  Listening Exam –Tuesday, June 13th, 2023

l  Oral Exam – Thursday, June 15th, 2023

l  Written Exam –Tuesday, June 20th, 2023

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

Vocabulary from:

·         Dear Juno (Weeks 13-14)

·         Anansi Goes Fishing (Weeks 15-16)

·         Rosa and Blanca (Week 17)

·         Listening comprehension: an unknown text

 

ORAL EXAM:   

Read an unfamiliar text comprised of vocabulary from weeks 13-17.  Answer questions about the text using complete sentences. 

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 14--17)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         Dear Juno

·         Anansi Goes Fishing

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Long Vowels: ow, oa, igh, ie, y, i
